About Musical Heirs Musical Heirs, a children’s choir, is committed to producing skillful musicians who use singing to glorify God and to serve others. The choir offers children the opportunity to grow personally and corporately as they strive for higher excellence and integrity in their music. The students learn challenging music, theory and history throughout the year and share their music, bringing hope and encouragement to audiences in our community and beyond. This choir is open for audition to all homeschooled children, ages 10 to 14. Founded in 1992 by Barbara Van Patter, Musical Heirs has been a resource for home educated children and their families in Charlotte and surrounding areas for 17 years. The choir experience offers the joys of singing, working as a team, understanding music and sharing it with others. The goal of Musical Heirs is to produce skilled singers who use their voices to serve God and others.  |
